I am originally from Canton, Ohio. Home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Ohio University. Immediately after graduation, I knew that it was essential to make a difference in others, so I enrolled at Walsh University where I obtained my teaching license. Soon after, the mountains were calling and I moved to Denver. For the first two years, I taught gifted and talented students at Ashley Elementary for Denver Public Schools. The next five years, I taught fifth grade at the same place. This is my fourth year teaching for Eagle County Schools as a Gifted Education Specialist at June Creek Elementary and Homestake Peak School.
I enjoy all things outdoors, especially hiking, biking, skiing, and photography (all photos on this site are mine). I am so excited for the upcoming school year where I can inspire students to create, innovate, and discover ideas that can change the world!
